About the Herbalist.
Susanna Bahaar Thomas has lived at Trillium
Farm since 1997
transforming the Mother Garden into a healing sanctuary.
Susanna began working with plants as a child in her mother's garden
when
the pansies and bleeding hearts "spoke" to her, calling her to learn
the ways of
a garden.
She began creating flower essences
when the flowers in the Trillium Garden
spoke to her,
asking to be shared with others to help heal and transform lives.
As a master gardener, Susanna grows the food for Trillium Farm,
teaches interns and students how to grow food:
beginning in the greenhouse, to the final harvest and food preservation.
A former educator in the mainstream, Susanna brings her passion for learning
and teaching to all aspects of her life. As a sufi cheraga,
she has facilitated
weddings
and other spiritual gathering on the Land.
As a Steward of the Land with her life-partner Chant Thomas,
she
immerses herself
in the spiritual dimension of the living in the wilderness.
